The 20,000-square-foot Michigan Road Branch provides greater access to Library services and collections, engaging spaces for children, teens and adults, more computers, and a large community room. The branch opened in December 2018.

Join a conversation about the future of the library. Share your feedback on how The Indianapolis Public Library can serve the community. Your response will help inform our 2025-2027 Strategic Plan. An American Sign Language Interpreter is scheduled for this meeting.
Receive personal instruction to advance your computer skills. Students will learn how to create and send emails, how to produce content in Microsoft Word, the tools available within Microsoft Excel, and how to design creations in Microsoft Publisher.
Teens and tweens (Ages 10 to 18) are invited to an egg hunt. Every egg will have a prize inside with chances to win bigger prizes. Event hosted by the Michigan Road Branch Teen Advisory Group and will take place rain or shine.
